Although from different backgrounds, Jaishree and Cyrus have been working as a team since 1991.

Cyrus was motivated to work with stained glass when six large panels in his home required urgent repairs. He decided to meet the challenge of restoring them himself as there was no expertise available in this field then. His experience in aeronautical engineering had sharpened his skills in carpentry, metalwork and in the use of hand tools. He was soon able to master the skill of cutting glass.

Jaishree, who is a graduate in Psychology, has lived in Spain from 1970 to 1983. It was here that she became aware of the magical wonder which suffused her whenever she stood before a stained glass window, a feature commonly found in Spanish architecture. She has successfully completed a Certificate Course in Glass Enamel Painting at La Granja, Segovia, Spain. After her return to Bombay, she made up her mind to delve into this art. She found the kind of thoroughness she was looking for in a teacher, in Cyrus.

They soon began working as colleagues, designing and crafting door and window panels and carrying out repair and restoration according to internationally accepted procedures.
